• PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP: A pampering session with makeup artistry and light hair styling so you look your best.
• FULL ACCESS TO MY DESIGNER STUDIO CLOSET: Enjoy gowns of the era in my studio wardrobe during your shoot including gloves, tiaras, jewelry, feathers and more!
• FULLY GUIDED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT: Where I will pose you into the most flattering poses.
• REVEAL AND ORDERING SESSION: You will see your fully-retouched images at the studio. You will choose your complimentary print and have the opportunity to purchase more.

Why the Regency-Era Portrait Experience, Why Me & Why Now?
Hello, I'm Barb Hauser and I'm so glad you are here! I'm an international award-winning portrait photographer. I shoot on location and in my gorgeous studio in the heart of old-town Pasadena, California. When you arrive to my studio, you will be captivated by the century old charm of the building with it's high ceilings, brick walls, staircases - as well as the high arch windows that will take your breath away!
I love the regalia of the Regency Era, the early 1800s. You know, the dresses, the hair and elegance - all so romantic. I thought it would be fun to re-create this experience for women who want to play in that realm and have beautiful inspired portraits featuring a beautiful bed, arched windows, a writing desk (to write gossip columns) or read favorite books, and so much more! The beautiful natural light and even candle light will be a part of the experience at the studio and on location at a mansion like property with gardens!
I admit that the best part for me is going through the process of finding out the hidden treasures in each person. The moment when everything comes together and you feel it and then we take a peek at the back of the camera and you gasp.. I love that! Then when you pick up your prints and art…you can really see what I see - which is the best of you! I look forward to creating your best portraits, and spending time together. Barb xo
WHO IS THE EXPERIENCE FOR?
All women are invited! I have photographed stunning images of women of all shapes and sizes; women with different tastes, from different backgrounds and with different views of life.
You can bring your own gowns and accessories or enjoy our gowns in the client closet! We have a variety of sizes and styles that have been hand-made in the Regency-Era style much like the styles of popular shows on television like Bridgerton and Downton Abby, etc.
The Regency-Era Portrait Experience is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure, custom-tailored and focused on YOU!

Oh my gosh!!! I had such a great time doing pictures with Barb!! I'm 63 and haven't had professional pictures taken since I was in school, so I thought that commemorating retirement was the perfect time for some new images. It wasn't just a "photoshoot"... it was a whole experience. I chatted with Barb a little before I went to the studio. Then at the studio, a stylist did my hair and makeup (I felt like a super model) ... then wardrobe and then pictures... and a lot of laughing.
